About Us
Highland Cow Cottage
Welcome to Highland Cow Cottage, where we offer a truly unique experience unlike any other. Nestled amidst picturesque landscapes, our charming cottage invites you to immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the countryside while enjoying the company of our adorable Highland cows.
Each highland cow carries a piece of Scotland’s rugged beauty; their individual personalities and the way they interact with each other showcase the resilience and charm of Highland cattle. You can take afternoon tea in a heated, highland cow-themed igloo or get close to our stars.

Meet Our Moos
Today, Highland Cow Cottage have twelwet gorgous stars – Megan, Elizabeth, Alfie, Sofia, Agnes, Holly, Rose, Spike, Odin, Belle, Gwen and Elsa.
Alfie and Liz have yellow coats and Megan red, which are characteristic of the Highland cattle breed. Sofia, on the other hand, stands out with her striking black coat, adding a unique touch to the group. Agnes is yellow-coloured and the newest addition to our little fold. Spike is a 10-month-old Highland cow with a beautiful dun-coloured coat. Holly and Rose are 7 months old and the newest additions to the team.
They have a double-layered coat. The long hair is the waterproof part, and the shorter hair underneath is the insulation. They shed a lot of shorter/insulation hair in the summer, and the long hair stays to protect them from the sun.
Their hair is providing them with protection against the unpredictable weather.
